you could make cases for Nash and Mr. Never Pass (Kobe) for obvious reasons...but Dirk should get based on the run Dallas has made

The big three is Steve Nash, Dirk Nowitzki, and Kobe Bryant. Dirk is leading the league in the race to the mvp because of his teams spotless record of 57-11. He is dropping big numbers in points 25 and rebounds 11. Steve is a close second right now. His team is in a close second to Dirks with a record of 52-16. Steve is leading the league in assists again 11.6 (big surprise). Kobe is in third and getting more props for second and first by each day.....He has dropped 50 or more in the past 4 game. He is also leading the league in points with 30 (while averaging 5 assists and 5 rebounds). The only reason Kobe is in 3rd still is because of his teams mediocre record of 37-32 keeping him in 6th place for the western conference.
My votes for Kobe (just because he is my fave player and hes a stud in the league) but Dirk is getting the most votes. Kobe has announced that he would vote for Dirk if he could.Steve has announced that he would vote for Dirk. Dirk said he would vote for Steve.
Dirk 2, Steve 1, Kobe 0.
Hope this tells you who will win the MVP...

Steve Nash.
Because he is so valuable to he's team.
When he's gone for just a couple of games they lose. Beside he won the last two years, and this season he's playing better than any of those years (check his stats).
Why not Novitzki?
Well, because he didn't really improve.
The reason why the Mavs are better is because of Josh Howard who has been improving a lot.
Why not Kobe?
Well, because a MVP should be value to his team (not that Kobe isn't), and Kobe has not been able to carry his team very good, and that is what superstars are supposed to do. Personal stats doesn't matter, but championships do.

I think Dirk will get it his year. The Mave are having a great year because of the continuity of the team, but I just think that his presence on that team makes ths difference over the other MVP candidates. Alhough Steve Nash is just as strong a candidate, but the Mavs have had a stronger season so far.

Well if kobe can keep this up theres no doubt its him but if he slacks off like he usually does and go on one of those losing streaks then its gonna be Dirk but theres no doubt its going to be nash, dirk, or kobe

Dirk Nowitzki will win it. But if Kobe Bryant can keep up his 50 plus point games he might just end up winning it.
