I need to do an algebra project with my 4th grade class and cannot find or think of a good one. It should be similar to a science project with a hypothesis and stuff like that...Any suggestions?

Give them a set budget and let them plan a menu and have to double or half the recipes. Give them salespapers from your local paper and see who can create the most exotic menu

Algebra in 4th grade? I am not quite sure, but I think I was still finger painting and eating crayons when I was in 4th grade. Seriously, never heard of algebra at such a young age.

Do 4th graders have algebra?? Well, in my algebra class we had work with integers a while back, so we did a project on operations with integers.
