No, trees have various lifespans depending on their species. Some live for 40 - 60 years and others have been found living up to a thousand years or more, but that's exceptionally rare. But nothing lives forever.

Living forever is out of the question even in a perfect environment. Having said that, many species of trees would live a very long time. The bristle-cone pines in high altitudes of of the desert southwest are known to live more than 2,400 years. This is exceedingly rare, however. The best source I could find suggests that trees would rarely exceed 1500 years in best circumstances.

First of all, you make a condition that is impossible to attain either in the wild or in controlled conditions for long enough to answer the question. In nature, there are too many variable such as disease, insects, fires, climate, etc.
From man, cutting down trees, fires, nourshiment, etc.
For the most part, each species has a set age built into it by nature. Some are for relatively short periods 10-20 years while others can live for hundreds or thousands of years

It would depend on the tree.
Some can - and have - lived for thousands of years.
They claim that a certain tree was Moses's burning bush from the Bible.
But no tree could live forever.

depends on the kind of tree. Some will live for hundreds of yearsor more. The Sequoia is the largest and can live for thousands of years. The 'General Sherman tree' in Sequoia National Park in California is estimated to be 2500 years old. I know. Holy crap.

No. More so than humans, trees mostly have a programmed life cycle depending on specie. While there are a few exceptions, trees seldom exceed 25% of the normal life span.

Nope, depending on the type of tree it has different life spans. BUT like every living thing they too must die.

Each type of tree has its own life cycle. Under excellent conditions it would follow its natural path.
