My Pps2 is scratching my games?

Question

I will get a new game and play it till I beat it. or if it's a online game I'll play it all the time. but every now and then I will get the game out to change games and look at the disk and its all scratched up wtf. so I tryed to look at my ps2 I blow out the hard drive so there is no dusk thats all I can do. do the cds spin in there like the ps1 or not?

OK...HERS WAT YOU DO...IF YOU ARE NEAR LIKE EB GAMES, GAME STOP, OR SOME SORT OF GAMING PLACE TAKE YOUR PS2 IN AND GET THEM TO LOOK AT IT.OR YOUR PS2 MY BE BROKEN IN A SENSE AND NEED TO EXCHANGE IT WITH A NEW ONE.
