Yes, there is a Legally Blonde 3 coming out and there are 3 things to be aware of.

1st. The movie will be set in London somewhere.

2nd. The movie will not include Reese Witherspoon as she has turned down the offer to star in it.

3rd. The movie will be a direct to video/dvd release.

Looks like you're out of luck:

(from Wikipedia.com on Legally Blonde 2):
"The now Sony-owned MGM decided against a Legally Blonde 3 after the sequel failed to show legs at the box office and the cost of continuing the franchise was increasing with fewer profits and the rising demand of Reese Witherspoon. In the end, Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde did not make enough money to warrant another sequel."

The IMDB (http://us.imdb.com) reports that Reese Witherspoon is set for "Legally Blonde 3" should MGM move forward on another one.

Witherspoon revealed that the third one would have her character going to Europe. "Marc Platt, the producer, thought it would very funny to have Elle in London, having to go up to the bar with all the barristers. Europe is the next big world to conquer. Elle's conquered America. It's time to conquer the globe."
