Potatoes work well. Also, you can buy cricket food(called gutload) at petstores. Plain oatmeal works really well, too.

Just some advice... you should limit the amount of mealworms you feed your beardeds. The outer-shell of the worms can cause your dragons to become impacted. They can't fully digest the shell.

I feed mine bran flakes use for bothe substate and food they just live in about an inch of crushed flakes I also add calcium powder. also feed meal worms after they have shed then thier shell is soft for d=dragon to eat no problems with impaction

save a lid (like a lid from peanut butter jar) and put the meal worms in it separate from but near leafy greens.

I always feed them potatos I cut them in half and they usually will eat it in a couple of days We buy our mealworms 1000 at a time.

corn meal & oat meal work very well.
