He didnt make his high school team because he wasnt tall enough. over the summer he grew quite a bit and came back and played varsity. he went on to play at the university of north carolina where he made the game winning shot in the ncaa championship game. He was actually the third pick in the nba draft. his rookie season started off slow but hten he caught fire and won rookie of the year. the next year he broke is foot and missed a lot of games. the year after that he came back better than ever. he is considered to be the best palyer ever by many people and i ahppen to agree. he owre #23 which is half of his bro's favortie number. he wore 45 in baseball and for the most of the season when he came out of retirement for the first time. during the playoffs he put back on number 23 and the won the championship. he is one of the greatest scoreers and clutch shooters ever. he as won 6 nba championships and 6 finals mvp awards. he has had many other awards including season mvp and all star mvp. his two greatest shots are the shot against the lakers in which he was in mid air when he switched the ball from his right to left hand and scored and the shot against the utah jazz right b4 his second retirement. that game he had the flu and prolly the amde the greatest shot in nba history to win the 6 nab championship. he played for the bulls. after the 6 cahmpionship he retired again but came back to paly for the wizards and still was a great player at 40. ope i helped there are many biagraphies on mj.

He didn't make the high school team because the coach didn't want him to be over confident. Mike even said he was good enough to make the team but the coach just didn't want Mike to become cocky. Not makin the team was actually great for basketball because it gives hope for kids that didn't make their team to try harder and be "LIKE MIKE".Check wikipedia they have tons of info on mike and just google (i mean yahoo:) his name and for info about him. Did you know Jordan wanted to be number 45 because that was his brothers fave #. But he couldn't because someone was already wearing it. So he divided 45 by 2 and rounded up to 23. That's why he wears the number 23. He wore 45 when he played baseball and wore it for a while when playin for the Bulls.
