my friend is pregnant along with me but she can't take pills, never have been able to.

Prenatal vitamins are not necessary. She should speak with a dietitian so make sure she gets all the vitamins from her normal diet that she would get in the pre-natal.

Or.. she could crush it up (or empty it out if it's the kind with a case) into a drink or food.

As long as you eat a balanced diet, many doctors don't even recommend pre-natal vitamins anymore.

She could also try drinking a protein shake (like a meal replacement) every day to help top up those vitamins...

My doctor told me to take two flinstones vitamins, because the prenatal vitamins made me sick.

It is not impossible to obtain all your dietary requirements during pregnancy simply through a proper diet. Vitamins and other supplements are not compulsory.

2 flinstones daily or the chewable prenatals are avilable now too. She should ask her Dr for chewables.

Yes, there are pregnancy shakes.They are called Ensure Healthy Mom, they come in vanilla and chocolate. You can get them at like Wal-Mart or Walgreens.

try flinestone vitamins...two a day...that is what my ob told me to take..until i got in to see her..
