Depends on the area you live in, when your last frost is expected and the tempeture at night. Usually the package of seeds will show you a map on the back and a time frame for each planting. You can start most plants indoors in small styrofoam cups now and be ahead of the game a few weeks down the road. Good luck!!

You should find out what zone you are in. Each state has different zone for planting, a chart according to weather. I would go to your local public library and ask them, or ask a friendly neighbor that has a garden.
