The saints are coming by U2 and green day 's video is agaisnt the us governtment(im not so sure about the song) ,the video shows what the governtment should have really done on the aftermath of hurrican Katrina.

anti-flag is all about teaching people to stand up for their rights. they have quite a different sound, but their lyrics are incredible. for blood and empire is their newest cd. its punk rock. but it's all about politics. give them a try.

Unfortunately, there hasn't been the influx of anti-war songs with this generation's war that was seen with the Vietnam war. I think it is because there is not draft with this war, and until kids are FORCED to go fight, they won't care enough about it to protest. There are some out there, but anti war subject popularity still isn't were it was back then.
