I have no power steering. I've used Stop-X ... nothing. I noticed some type of assembly on the firewall leaking the power steering fluid. Looks like a solenoid of some type. Any ideas? Thanx.

The rack and pinion is bolted to the sub frame in the back of the engine. Most of them have a vaps variable asssist power steering on it where the lines hook that look like a solenoid. That,s what you must be talking about. The seals must be broken and leaking

I can't think of any power steering on the firewall. Could it be your brakes?
