people over 500 pounds can play this retarded sport.. and i went to orioles game in baltimore once.... everyone there was almost obese... it was hilarious... give up this sport and play something that actually takes energy and skill... example... basketball, football, soccer, hockey, rugby, any sport that you actually do stuff.

Maybe because you don't have the intelligence to understand the nuances of the game, were unable to play it so you copped an attitude about it, and have the attention span of a flea?? Awww... not a best answer? Naw - because you were looking for some idiot to agree with your views. But this one was honest, at least. People over 500 lbs don't have a chance to play baseball.

I believe the fact that "most people at the one game you went to were obese" shows two things: 1) you have gone to one game, and 2) maybe people in Baltimore are more likely to be obese than some other cities?? Maybe if you had any skill and tried the game, you could appreciate it. Now go chase your little ball around and try to kick it into a net. Soccer is one of the most boring sports there is, worse than watching golf.

And the fact that you find it hilarious that people don't have the intestinal fortitude to control their eating habits in order to protect their health and be there for their loved ones simply shows how immature and ignorant this entire question was. Now go back to riding your bike, little man.

ok, baseball is VERY tough. (i play softball which in nearly the same). you have to always be alert. i play catcher, and my legs hurt like heck when i'm done playing. the reason the game you saw was so lame was because it was the orioles.....they're a bad team and have been for a while. maybe you should try playing it before you say anyone can. it'd be fun to laugh as you try to throw the ball. the other sports you listed DO take a lot of skill, and i love watching football hockey, and basketball, but baseball rocks too. and soccer is a lot more boring than baseball......never seen rugby though....they don't really play it here.
peace

First off, did u ever try hitting a 80+ mph fast ball comming at u from 60 ft away with a stick?.... i guess not. Baseball may not be the most energy-damanding sport, but it sure as hell is skill-wise. And football and rugby take the least amount of skill out of any sport, how do i know?... cuz i play them, as well as baseball. And soocer players are the biggest ******* p-u-s-s-i-e-s i've ever seen, they don't deserve to be athletes. Hockey and basketball however, are very tough sports, i will admit.

Lets see here, I learned to kick a ball when I was 1 and a half, but I did not learn to hit a Home run until I was about 12, By the way Try legging out a triple its not for the obese or out of shape so maybe we should go to the SOCCER section and start talkin smack, Oh and by the way there is no need to call me a racist as you often do with other answers users....

You went to an Orioles game ONCE, that doesn't justify anything. Who were obese, anyway? The players or the fans? Yeah, a lot of baseball players are big. That's because they work out and buff up. I mean, come on. It does take a lot of muscle and stamina to throw pitches after pitches. And how about those bombs outta the ballpark a.k.a. homeruns? Baseball is a sport for patient and intelligent people. If you don't like it, fine. But stop talking trash about it.

Well...if this isn't the true boneheaded question!!!

If you don't "get" baseball that's not our problem. Go scamper off and kick your little soccer ball around in your shiny little shorty shorts. Meanwhile, those of us that eat at the big table will stick with our baseball. When you try catching a few fly balls in mid-day sun of swinging at 100 miles of heat coming at you then you can come back and let us know how much skill is involved.

If you think baseball is so bad what must you think of soccer which is the "7th" ranked sport in the US under Nascar ?

Soccer is a recreation at best!. It gives kids something to do for exercise in this country.

Since there is no skill involved, why are posting stupid questions instead of out playing and earning your $10.2 Million 4 year contract with the Yankees?

PS, if you think you aren't supposed to be "doing stuff" during every play, then you are definitely the kid who played right field and picked his nose all game instead of paying attention.

people over 500 pounds could play basebal???? I DONT THINK SO, do you think they will be able to RUN THE BASES, RUN TO CATCH THE BALL, HIT? I dont think they could do that being 500lbs. And baseball is NOT BORING, JUST B/C U DONT UNDERSTAND IT DOESNT MAKE IT BORING, MAYBE UR NEXT Q SHOULD BE IF ANYBODY CAN EXPLAIN THE GAME OF BASEBALL TO YOU. And on you comment on baseball being retarted, i think your RETARTED.
