Who do you think will be the ultimate winner of American Idol? Also, have any past American Idols done well with a CD/Songs?

I think this year either Jordan Sparks or Blake Lewis will win. Kelly Clarkson,Carrie Underwood, and Chris Daughtry have been verrrryyyy succesfull with #1 cds in the U.S.

I think the ultimate winner will be Jordan Sparks (Go Arizona! :P). Even though Sanjay is really hot, looks won't make you win (though some people are making sure he'll win :P). The only American Idols that I think made it good in the industry are Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood. They both have more awards than the others.

Melinda Doolittle is definitely the best singer. I think Lakisha would have a chance but she needs polishing. The beat box guy (Blake) is pretty neat too. I'm amazed that Sanjaya is still on the show!!
As for CD's/songs, Carrie Underwood has gotten a few awards so I would say she's the most successful. Then Katherine McPhee,and Kelly Clarkson, and Clay Aiken.

Well, truely i love Blake, and think he should win, but the only people with the biggest cd/songs so far who won american idol is kelly clarkson, and Carrie underwood

I'm hoping Melinda Doolittle will win. Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood, past winners have done great with their CD's.....and awards.

i think Melinda or Blake will win as far as the cds Carrie Underwood Chris Daughtry Taylor Hicks Kelly Clarkson Kellie Pickler and Katherine McPhee have all #1 cds

If your a country guy theres Carrie Underwood, and if your rock guy theres Chris Launchry or something lol, and Katherine McPhee made a new song/cd i believe. Well this year its hard to tell at the moment but Senjia is worst :$ lol

I don't know, really. I like all of them except for Gina and that guy named Chris. Melinda Doolittle is the best singer there, but she doesn't really seem star-type. But hey, American Idol always surprises me. I think all the contestants are great.

the ultimate winner would be the AMERICAN PUBLIC IF THAT CRAP GOT AKEN OFF THE AIR!! this crap is the most meaningless show with NO TALENT!! I HAVE EVER SEEN!!
