Is "Our City Sucks" the new slogan of the Tigers? When you can buy a house that cost twice as much to build 5 years ago as you have to pay for it now, that is just pathetic. And yes, I have lived in the city and the burbs there. I spent a decade there one year. I lived in Southfield, and in the city around Grand River & Fenkell, off of the highway (10??). Nice 'hood in the day, shootout in my backyard at night. Glad I was smart enough not to slap some cash down on a home in that cesspool. Left me free to get outta Dodge, leaving the murderers and assorted other scumbags, drunks, & crack whores behind. But I did like the old ballpark. You just had to take an armed guard to watch your car down with you.

Georgie, after this season is over you can go back in defensive mode when the Tigers finish last in the AL Central again and miss out on the playoffs after going to the World Series.
I'm neither a Tigers or WhiteSox fan, which makes me much more qualified to say that the WhiteSox are a much better team.

just outside chicago in i55 there is a billboard that reads " lets party like its 2005." stuck in the past as always, but that comes from a town that calls themselves the 2nd city. when they are actually 3rd and falling.
