ova or not?

dont watch the ova
because ova can be different
for me i always just start watching the anime episodes
i think ova is a waste of time to watch..because in anime episodes they will just start in the introduction

Not the OVA unless you want to get spoiled! A OVA is just a special from the anime that usually starts somewhere in the middle or end of the anime.

Try this website http://anidb.info/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=main type in the name of the anime and it'll tell you the year the ova, episodes and movies(if any) were made, some anime like for example Read or Die start off with OVAs, others have them in the middle or through the series and most have them after.

Not the OVA! They usually take place around the middle of the anime.

Depends. Most of the time, no. But you need to find out when the OVA takes place. Like Elfen Lied. It has one OVA and it takes place after episode ten... or somewhere around there.

depends but for the most part you watch the anime, unless the OVA pre-dates the anime,as in production not timeline.
