Could be next on George's list as he is now taking aim at Iran.
That could inflame everything to a point of exactly that, world war three.

I think George Bush has started it already. He has made many of the uneducated American people believe that Islam is evil and has to be destroyed. He is just starting to turn the West against the East... He has permitted Lebanon to be pummeled by Israel. The American government has turned a blind eye to the slaughtering of innocent Palestinians, and the seizure of their lands (notice they have gone from "occupied territories, to Israeli settlements"?) Bush has pummeled Iraq and led it into a civil war. If you pay attention to the media, the white house is laying the groundwork for an invasion on Iran. Many Americans do not have the time nor the energy to research the truth, so they believe the only thing available to them which is the media. We are just at the beginning of WW III. Hopefully we can turn it around and reform our government before our entire world is turned upside-down.

The balance of national power isn't like it was in the early 19th century. Most countries went to war then with the belief that they could actually win.
Nowadays power is spread out so dispraportionately that it would dissuade all but a few powerful or arrogant nations from a large scale conflict like that. I Seriously doubt that there would be enough countries willing to get involved to actually call it a "world war"

Yes i highly believe thier will be a world war three, but it may not be like the others, i have never lived through one, but, we now have more technoligie, more power!We can kill hundreds of millions in one bomb stricking......... I think we will run out of lives to fight before it come to an end, i think we might end in world war three. I'm guessing all the countrys will perticipate, and i think the one starting it is Goerge Bush (if we could of seen the futer, i think we would have NOT voted for him!!!)Lik i said, no one will win, no one will loose we will see the end before it is over!

Right now every country on Earth is in someway or another evolved in a battle with terrorists or empowerment of terrorists.
I do believe that this would make it a world war. Unfortunately a lot of people haven't gotten the message. They believe that if we hide our heads in the sand and allow terrorists to take over countries one at a time or create enough fear that we change to meet their ideologies that somehow they will become our friends.

Contrary to popular belief, WW3 is not on the near horizon. Powerful industrial nations know the next world war will wipe life off the planet. Would China really attack us when they know that under attack, the US would unleash the most powerful arsenal in history? Same for Russia and others. Nations have weapons that can wipe one another out, and the nuclear fallout would wipe out all life. So, no, I don't think it will happen
