I think they will go to the next highest bidder. You may get bad reviews and people will be reluctant to take you seriously.

They CAN sue. Anyone buying or selling on e-bay signed papers regarding the pay ethics. Not only ebay will cause trouble for you but the person who bought something or sold you something can end up at your doorstep.
News crew and national tv shows have followed just this type of scam so don't think you (or whoever) will get away with it.
Nothing like answering your door to police and then trying to talk your way out of it. Think they can't find you? ha ha guess again... I have friend who traces all Internet info for the sheriffs departments. IT IS possible and they can come calling.
Limit time spent with the person doing this for they will drag you down too. Run.... RUN now !!

1. Negative Feedback.
2. Non-paying Bidder Report
3. Account Permanently terminated (and you can't create another account for the rest of your life becauase they'll be able to cross-reference it to your old account)
4. Get sued by the person who sold the items because you entered a legally binding contract when you placed the bid.
5. The seller might find you and break your legs (but this would probably be rare).

sellers look at your buying record history and if it has a lot of negative feedbacks they take that in consideration in selling something to you. they don't want to be jipped on payments and/or missed sales. just like they watch you, you watch your seller's history. many are out there jipping the public too. just a warning.

it depends on the seller.
you could recieve negative feedback, have your account suspended, or even be sued.
personally i would cut your fingers off one at a time til you agree to pay.
dont play if you arent gonna pay.

mukwon.... said it all and said it best. Why would you want to screw someone out of their money. If you are dissatisfied with your purchase there are ways to deal with that but to just not pay is an immature response.

you'll get negative comments. sellers may be wary to sell to you next time you want to legitimately purchase.

You get strikes. If you get to many, you get banned.
