I'm not sure what you mean. Are you talking about positive personality quirks?

He was a supporter of animal welfare to the point of becoming a vegetarian.

He drank alcohol only socially during dinners and then only on certain occasions.

He loved small children and was "good" around them.

He loved animals, (not surprising given his above mentioned stance), and was "good" with them.

He fought bravely during WW1, was inured and later was decorated for his service.

He could memorize a long speech after only glancing at it once.

With some practice, he could give long speeches that would captivate an audience.

Although obviously evilly insane in retrospect, he knew how to make himself seem quite reasonable and personable, (read: tell you what you want to hear, exactly the way you want to hear it), in one-on-one conversations.

Of course it's true, during his absolutist reign very few questioned him openly about anything.
