Theres this legend in steamboat about a miner who came to all the houses and took the people into the lake and killed people. There were 49 people who just vanished from steamboat in 1973. Thats why so many people are afraid of steamboat. Afraid of the Steamboat miner forty-niner

All of those urban legends creep me out. Hook-man is the scariest to me.

The bloody Mary component which you're meant to do in front of a mirror in the dark constantly creeps me out... your mind's eye can truly play tricks on ya... i'm too scared to attempt it! :P

well one of the yuckiest ones i can remember from my childhood is the one about this guy who loved mayonnaise, and somehow he had a magic mayo jar that never ran out of mayo, and then one day he came home early and found a monster squeezing out his zits into the mayo jar.
oh gosh i just made myself sick.
