Taylor has a decent chance at being looked at by NBA teams, especially with the way he's played in his last couple games; however, I don't think he's really that great of an NBA prospect. He really isn't big enough to be a shooting guard, and he's not quick enough to run the point. He also has questionable shot selection at times. He might get drafted, but there's a better chance he's signed as an undrafted free agent and sent to the Developmental League. As for player of the year, I really think Durant will end the streak of a freshman never winning the award. He was a huge part of his team and put up monster numbers in a respectable conference. Everybody focused on him and he still tore them apart. The loss to USC will hurt him a little bit, but no one else is really close to him so he still should win it.

The way Taylor played in the second half vs. TAM-CC in the tourney showed that he can carry a team and is NBA quality.

Now Durant WILL win, but Roy Hibbert SHOULD win

KEVIN DURANT HANDS DOWN!!!

he ranks in the top ten in scoring and rebounds in the whole NCAA. big 12 freshman of the yr, big 12 player of the year(over ACIE LAW, who i think is the best clutch player in the ncaa).
