You could probably leave it on for a few days if the fan in the back has propper ventilation. I wouldn't advise leaving your TV on though, because the image could get burned into your TV forever.

when i went to the bog with game on pause about 5mins icame back and game had broke ie disc read error always coming up

you can leave it on pause on how long you want too

its got a fan in the back so will never go hot, but if its gta3, gta ect: it will read error!#
pause at you own risk!

We did overnight once on accident and nothing happened. Heck do you know how many times ours has hit the floor? lol It's like the energizer bunny.... keeps going and going......
