no where in the constitution does it say anything about minimum wage and in the 10th amendment it says that anything not mentioned in the constitution is reserved to the states but in a way min wage has to do with interstatecommerce from article 1 section 8. what do you think?

i am not asking if we need it or not. i am asking if you think it is constitutional. ALso, i am not asking if it should be high or low. thank you!!

Yes. Is their anything in the Constitution that prohibits it?

Until and unless you're prepared to show me evidence that the Constitution explicitly prohibits such a thing, I'm going to say that it is. And if you don't feel there should be one, try living on it for a year.

Yes, it keeps employers from trying to pay us only $1 an hour. However, I think minimum wage needs to be raised.

No, but nobody is going to say that in public. Raising the minimun wage will only hurt the economy. This is making me think that perhaps we need to abolish the minimun wage and let the boss and worker decide the salary.

You would think it would only be constitutional when applied only to interstate commerce.
