Having one or two parents.
That also includes divorce, single parenting, and habitation choice.
Parenting style, including but not limited to whether or not a parent stays home with child/ren.
Age of parent. This is very important for many reasons. If the parent is younger then the relationship becomes more one of friendship which can be bad. If the parent is too old that can hinder the relationship also.
Another good one is sibling placement which includes things such as being the first or last born, how many siblings, and their ages.
There are so many choices which are so broad...

Divorce is one of many there is cheats, someone who is very close to you dieing. alcoholics, drug users. The way people speak to you. bully's. Teacher are involved with your childhood everyone you no is involved with you making decision when you older it all affects you through the years.
