how do i get rid of adwareadware?

Some kinds of adware are difficult to remove, but I recommend you start by downloading Hitman Pro , a free program that installs multiple antispyware programs (including the free Spybot Search & Destroy, AdAware SE, SpywareBlaster, and free trials of Webroot SpySweeper and PCTools Spyware Doctor, among others), updates them all, and lets you run them all in Safe Mode. You should also run Virus scans in Safe Mode. Then download hijackthis from and run it with the Scan and Save Logfile option, then post the hijackthis.log to the hijackthis forum on a place like or , or else email me the log and I can tell you if there's any malware that's still there.

Do you want to get rid of the ad-aware programme or have you got adware?
If you want to get rid of the programme go to start - control - add and remove and delete the programm.
If you have adware down load a good adware spy ware programme like spybot and ad-aware. Sounds confusing dos'nt it.Hope this helps.

There should always be anti-spyware/adware on any computer and it should be run at least once a week. Not only that there should be a virus checker as well.

There are several free programs that will do it. I use 1 called Adaware personal. you can download it at www.lavasoft.com
You can set it up to run on a schedule or just run it every few days.
