Okay there is a few reasons people say why she shaved it.
Reason #1- She was never on T.V. anymore, did you notice? She thought she could never get back on T.V. unless she did something outragious. And you know, it worked, but not in a good way. Now everyone says she is crazy. But I do not understand this theory. She had already been in magazines and on T.V. from divorcing K-Fed and just plain goin' crazy!
Reason#2- She told a magazine that she had a problem with people touching and talking about how beautiful and soft her hair was. So, in a disadvantage, she shaved it!It's possible.
Reason #3- She has a problem with denying that she divorced K-Fed! Eh, I think not. But she may have.
Reason #4- She claims her hair was falling out everywhere, and everyone was making fun of her, so she just shaved it. This possibly could happen, but I doubt!
Reason #5-She shaved her head to give it to kids with cancer because she was jealous of other celebrities, because they were being mean to her about not doing anything to help the cause. This I do not think is true. She would have told the reason if it was for this.
Either way, I think it's pathetic! She looks miserable now, but I guess it's her head&choice!

She loves attention, so what a better way to get it. The tabloids say cuz of an aunt that died of cancer. I do think Britney has gone through alot, but it's all self inflicted, eg.... hanging out w/ Paris, wearing clothes off a strippers back, wearing no underwear. So to make a long story short she needs more attention and what a better way than shaving your head, so people think your having a melt down. It makes a great story think about it.

i first thought that she just wanted to shave her head, who cares if thats what the girl wanted to do, i have shaved my head and wasnt going through a crisis insanity fit, so maybe thats why and the media just makes it into some big insanity fit thing, you never know until she speaks out for herself...

Apparently she had a nervous break down but personally i think she had too much of Paris Hilton and now is pyschologically ill

1. She's a really big Sinead O'Connor fan.

She was quoted as saying "I'm tired of people touching me, touching my hair" Personally I think she's just gone off the deep end. there was also some excuse given about her extensions, and that that was the best way to get rid of them.

they said either stress, her hair was fallong out because of her extensions or because she had a scalp disorder. I say it was a nervous breakdown and she wanted to start fresh...ie by shaving off her image.

The tabloids said it had something to do with denying Kfed DNA. I think it's because she's insane.
