I am about to go on a trip to Disney World in Orlando. I have never been before. I am getting a park hoppers pass and just wanted to know what are the best parks? What are the best thrill rides?

Well, the most intense ride is Mission: Space at Epcot, at times it puts nearly 5 Gs on you. Epcot also has Test Track and the uber cool Soarin' (which is more of an incredible experience than a pure thrill ride)

Animal Kingdom does have a really nice thrill ride in the pure sense in Dinosaur. It's not a roller coaster, but does a good job at making you feel thrilled, especially the first time you ride it. Everest is a great ride, but was dummed down a little to make it more available for families to ride.

Disney - MGM Studios does have my favorite ride in the D. World at Rockin' Roller Coaster, and that is still my favorite roller coaster to ride anywhere in the world, and will have you saying the lines from the preshow all day and forevermore (i.e "Wait a minute, I love that idea. How about some backstage passes!") The Tower of Terror is also pure thrills, and awesomely themed. It also has the older style simulator ride Star Tours which is based in the Star Wars universe, so that's sort of neat, even if the technology is a little dated.

Magic Kingdom has the 3 Mountains (Space, Splash and Big Thunder) But only Space and Big Thunder are really "thrill rides" and the lines are usually crazy.

My honest recommendation is that if you have 4 days, just take a day at each park and check them all out. If you are just looking to go and pick off the best rides and don't care what else there is, then condense them into 2 or 3 days, if you can. I would smash MGM and Animal Kingdom together in one day if your only mission is to catch the thrill rides. Then start your next day at Epcot, do the big 3 there (Mission SPACE, Test Track, and Soarin) and move on to Magic Kingdom for whatever time you have left. But truly 1 day per park is best.

All of the theme parks in Walt Disney World are equally amazing. To choose the best one is very difficult, it really depends on what you enjoy. The Magic Kingdom is based on the "magical" side of Disney, but it is still amazing. Epcot is an educational park. It has rides and attractions in Future World, and The World Showcase, which includes 11 different country pavilions. The Disney-MGM Studios focuses on the movies, obviously, plus new and old Hollwood. Finally, Disney's Animal Kingdom, which revolves around the animal kingdom. I would recommend the following rides:

Magic Kingdom:
Big Thunder Mountain
Splash Mountain
Space Mountain

Epcot:
Test Track
Mission Space
Soarin'

Disney-MGM Studios:
Twilight Zone:Tower of Terror
Rockin' Roller Coaster

Animal Kingdom:
Expedition Everest
Dinosaur
Primeval Whirl
Kali River Rapids

Disney's MGM is best if you are a teenager. The Aerosmith Rockin' Roller Coaster is the best ride in all of Disney World. However, I have not yet ridden the Everest coaster - the problem there is that you have to go to that sucky Animal Kindgom to ride it. Twilight Zone Tower of Terror is next. Then I like Splash Mountain. I haven't been on Mission Space or the Test Track yet. That Big Thunder Mountain Railroad coaster in the Magic Kindom is pretty lame, don't listen to that other guy. Space Mountain is another one that is past its prime. Rockin' Roller Coaster blows it away.

Without a doubt, space mountain, a rollercoaster in total darkness except for the few small lights on the car you are riding in. You have no idea what is coming up until you can barely see it at the last second from the dim lights on your car. Any of the water rides rate up there also.
