i'm trying to find something to wear w/ a pair of black, not see-through, footed tights and someone told me to wear a shirt-dress and then maybe a belt at the waist to accent it.
i'm not exactly sure what this means. could someone put up pictures of a shirt-dress, w/ and w/o a belt, maybe someone wearing it so i can see how they're supposed to fit and where i could buy some of these?
i'd really appreciate it!

Thoese are what they look like they are one piece but it looks like two seperate pieces of clothes, you can pretty mcuh find them anywhere. Any of the major department stores will have them:

a shirt-dress is just a long shirt you can buy some at areopostal you wear the belt at about your belly button a big thick belt is the best
i also think a white shirt-dress will will look best because then you can wear it with a colorful tank underneath and it will look good with a lot of other things

It's a short dress usually worn with leggings.I see them at Forever 21.

forever 21 has great and really pretty shirt dresses for really good prices, you can go to one of their stores of try www.forever21.com
also jcrew has really pretty shirt dresses as well but they are more expensive. check a store or go to www.jcrew.com
