Been there my self mate, was sixteen the game cube came out was in school and me and my friend got lucky, you can too. We were from quite poor backgrounds and the school can give you at your age an E.M.A (they give you about thirty pound a week) ask your head teacher or whoever will help you just say that your parents are struggling with money and this would help them. Give the forms to your parents and they will fill it out for you. It all depends on how much money your parents make as I recall so if you cant get it they can afford a PS3 so make em give you an early birthday pressie. If you can get the E.M.A your fist payment from them will be about six hundred pound (because it's backdated from the begining of the school year I have no idea why?) PS3 here you come
good luck mate just ask a teacher for an E.M.A form and it's that easy the sooner filled out the sooner you get the money.

One of the easiest ways is going to be selling any old stuff you don't want anymore, and maybe getting a part time job. If you want to try and get one for free, don't use the website that was suggested above or ones similar to it, as they are just a con! You could try hunting out competitions through something like loquax. You might need someone over 18 to enter them, but someone has to win, and you never know you might be lucky! (I have entered about 20 competitions so far myself as I want one too but can't afford it!)

Talk to your parents, and see if they are willing to increase the money you get each week in return for extra help around the house. Good luck!

Getting a job would be the quickest way, to be honest. But be careful you dont spend in dribs and drabs or it will be gone before you know it! I remember when i got my first job, i was like "wow i have an unlimited supply of money!!!" but you need to learn to save. You could also try selling stuff on e-bay, especially if you have any old consoles or games. Good luck

get a good job and don't spend spend, open a saving account (another bank account) and put about 50 pound in a week or so and when you've got enough go out and buy it and also it will cost more if you want games, controllers etc. which will be about 550 pound.

PS3s wil be amazing. Wii novelty wears off quickly. Xbox isnt worth anything.

if you want my advice, if you know any fit girls, ask them to help you do a carwash for 50% of the profit. (but give them 1/3)

Do chores, make sure EVERYTHING is perfect. Do your homework when you get home, clean around the house, and be in a good mood.

OR

get a job.

Why don't you sort out all your old games, books and toys and sell them on ebay? Ask your Mum/Dad to help?
