I love wearing dresses but find it impossible to find comfortable heels in which I can walk more than half a block. I love to dance, but end up dancing barefoot because my shoes are so uncomfortable. I heard that Prada shoes are very comfortable. Is this true? Are there any other brands that are comfortable and not as expensive? What I'm looking for are shoes that have good arch support, good fit and cushioned heel and sole (as in air cushions or cork). Can anyone help? Thanks.

Cole Haan has crafted a line of their shoes with state of the art nike technology to make it feel like you're not wearing high heels when you actually are...Oprah even had a show featuring the designer to talk about how amazing the shoes were....they're a little expensive, but if you need comfort, I'd go for it ;]

Since I have bad knees and other skeletal issues but love heels, I found that Hush Puppies has some fantastic ones that are very, very comfortable. If they are comfortable when you put them on, they always will be comfortable. And the price is right, especially at a discount outlet store. Or you can buy them online. They have all sizes of heels and sandals and even patent leather.

Jimmy Choo makes very comfortable heels!

Umm as long as the dress is 100% cotton you shouldn't have a problem with it being uncomfortable, get a really nice spring dress. :)

If you ate just wearing them out for special occassion/date/dancing not really walking outside try proffessional dance shoes. I wore Very Fine strappy dance shoes for my son s wedfing and am now buying a different color for daughter s. They did the trick!
