The boss reprimands you for coming Late to Work AGAIN!!
So,he has to (figuratively) put a gun 2 your head to MAKE you come to work on time by letting you know "If youre late again,..we have to let u go!"

No a boss is not a babysitter.
If a person is not performing his or her job then bye bye.
being told if you are late one more time is not putting a figurative gun to ones head its fact a person needs to follow company guidelines or be fired

Some people think the rules don't apply to them so will do what they want until someone pressures them to do right.
I don't think most people behave this way.
The boss could have just fired the person without warning, so if my boss warned me first, I'd be happy he gave me a second (or third) chance.

nope that is not a good idea, how bout give them some motivations like giving an incentive when a worker never gets late for the whole month
