It's all about getting bums on seats. The airlines want to maximize plane occupancy. Certain flights from the Uk often call to other airports within the Uk now to try to ensure that the planes are full. These flights are usually slightly cheaper than the direct flights but personally I don't think they are worth the hastle

Its because of the weather they been having at the moment............loads of flights were being re directed in spain, on the costa del sol and on the costa blanca, its because of all the wind they've nbeen having lately....
