I forget the builder but there were two of the boats used for the movie... the one that was trashed and the one that was used for all the other shots. The one that was used for the non-destructive shots was tied up at the public dock in downtown Galveston, near the cruise ship dock, just a couple of years ago, but I don't know if it's still there or not. I think the other one was either sunk or left to rot where the "cuba" land shots were taken, in Salinas, Puerto Rico... it's probably still there rotting.
