That's a hard one, because I used to like both of them. Different style of music. Love the disco sound of Donna Summer, and the Motown sound of Donna Summer.

Diana Ross. The Supremes would've been the best-selling band of the sixties had it not been for the Beatles. She became so big, the groups manager wanted it changed to Diana Ross and the Supremes. She had several hits after she broke away from the band and she was the hand that pulled women into Rock and Roll and R&B. The Supreme's story wasalter slightly to influence the movie "Dreamgirls". Oh yeah, and Diana Ross was a main influence of Donna Summer.

They've both got great voices, but I guess I'd vote for Donna Summer. She was a local girl who made good when she hit it big in the mid '70's, and she still remembers her roots. I guess you could say she worked hard for the money lol (sorry:))
Diana Ross strikes me as "high maintainence", to put it kindly.
