Period like cramps are perfectly normal. I had them for the first 10 weeks or so. So bad I took meds and wore a pad and waited for my period.

I am 5 weeks pregnant today and have the same problem! Kind of a pinch in my lower left side for about 2 days now. I have also had light brown spotting and have read everything I can to find out if its normal. As far as I can tell it is. I have gotten lots of answers and they all say normal so I think we should both relax. That will help more than anything now I think! Good luck.

The twinges you are feeling are likely to be ligaments softening, this is common in pregnancy although if it gets worse or you are concerned try and get in to see your doctor sooner or go to the walk in centre for a check. Goodluck hope everything goes well for you

I had really bad period pains like I was going to come on for weeks into my pregnancy I went to the doctors and they did a scan and just said it was implantation.

Why can't u see the doc ring them and tell them its urgent or go to A&E.If ur working u r entitled to time of with pay to go to a doctor! Don't leave it u might regret it if u miscarry again!

It probably is ligament pain. If you are real concerned, I would just give your doc a call and see what he/she says.
