No, Harry Potter does not die in the 5th book (or movie) Sirius Black dies in the 5th, and Dumbledore dies in the 6th, and we all know Voldemort will die in the 7th, other than that, who knows who'll die.

if u read the 5th book Harry Potter and the order of the phoenix, it tells that Harry Potter doesn't die.. but in the last book they are saying that he might die..

I heard they are going to make the storyline similar to that of Star Wars. Apparently Harry finds out in the end that Hermione is actually his sister.

I hope so. I thank God that I have not seen one Harry Potter movie or read one book.by this author. I do read quite a bit of the classics by Good authors such as Dumas, and Victor Hugo.

There's 7 books in the series, how would harry die? Besides, there's a sixth book out, they would call it Dumbledore and the half blood prince, not Harry Potter & the Half Blood Prince..

If you've bothered to read the books, you'll find he lives all the way through no.5 (The Order Of The Phoenix), and all the way through no.6 (The Half-Blood Prince).
He's going to be there for all 7 books and films.
