I heard that it is not good to put a condom in you'r wallet, because it may squish the condom in there and ruin it. Is this actually possible? And what happens when it gets squished, will I be able to use it still?

you can easily tell if it is still good if you carefully squeeze the package and you feel the air in there. that means it's air tight.

it can't get "squished" but there are other problems with carrying it in your wallet. Actually the problem comes from the habit guys have of putting their wallet in their back pocket, the constant heat can damage the latex and the friction and movement can tear or break the wrapper and once it's exposed to air it will dry out and break if you try to use it. Just make sure to examine a condom very carefully before using it and do not use it if it's dry or appears damaged (remember though that a hole can be smaller than you are capable of seeing with the naked eye but could still allow sperm through) carry it in your jacket if you can.

Do not put a condom in your wallet because it is move likely to break. You can open the edges of the wrapper without knowing it and this can lead to the condom drying out and thus being unable to be used.

Its not the squishedness of the wallet, its the heat and environment. It weakens the latex which results in tears when you use them. Or a loss of elasticity, which makes them slip off.

Dont keep them in your car, or wallet, or anything like that. Not if you plan to use them. Keep them in a cool dry place, like a sock drawer. Or near the bed.

It depends on the packaging. If you have the ones that come in the foil packet, it is absolutely possible that it gets ruined. I recommend that you carry, if you must, the kind that come in plastic wrapping, and in your inside coat/jacket pocket as to avoid damaging them.

No it's a myth. I put one in my front pocket and it's still good to use as long as the package isn't opened.

its fine ..lol..its just that if you leave them in there too long the spermacide might dry out...and then the whole condom will be good for nothing ...
