Yes. For more information on I would go to www.badastronomy.com. The website is run by Phil Plait an astronomer out of some California university. There is plenty of information that overwhelmingly debunks the claims of the conspiracy theorists who said that humans never landed on the moon. The radiation belt that supposedly exists just outside of the earth's atmosphere can be easily deflected by a few layers of aluminum foil. Also the flag is not really waving. One of the astronauts wanted to make the illusion that the flag was waving so he moved the flag with his hand to give the waving appearance. If you take a close look the flag is in the same waving type position in every picture. It hasn't moved since it was first placed on the moon. I have also personally spoke to a man who landed on the moon and he would hit someone who claimed that he didn't actually go to the moon.

Yes, humans actually did land on the moon.

Physical evidence was returned in the form of 500lbs of moon rocks; photographic evidence was returned; the Apollo space capsule was returned with evidence of deep space flight; several moon landings occured with similar evidence brought back to Earth.

How did they get the American flag to look like it was flapping in the breeze? Easy, it was all explained decades ago as they crumpled it up to make 'Old Glory' look like it was waving in the wind.

The argument that the moon landing was all done on a movie set with special effects is called a 'conspiracy theory'. A 'conspiracry theory' is simply a supposition - unsubstantiated accusations.
Conspiracy theories are lies used to defame or minimilize the accomplishments of a rival or someone you politically do not like.

Compare the moon landings with today's (2007) Mars explorations, the U.S. has had a Mars Rover on Mars for over two years now but nobody is saying it is a fake - so why doubt the moon landing?

I have seen and heard many things about all of this. Personally I think we did land on the moon. And all of this stuff about the flag and how it shouldn't be able to fly like it did in the pictures I don't think it's ture that it could happen. I mean sure it could ever heard of solar winds?? See things can be looked at two different ways. I personally think we landed but I do understand why the people who think we didn't land think that way. I actually did a lot of research myself because I was beginning to have my doubts about it. But now I'm back to where I started, believing that we did land on the moon. I sure hope I helped.

The Apollo missions to the Moon did indeed happen. The major body of physical proof lies in the collective science the world has gathered from the solar, seismic and optical instruments placed there by the astronauts. These devices and the data they have produced, have been accessed and studied by thousands of scientists all over the world for many years. Because of this, the scientific community has confirmed many things such as: the exact distance between the earth and the moon; the existence of frozen water on the moon near its poles, and subtle changes in the earth's tides that could only be detected by having precise measurements available from equipment located on the surface of the Moon.

Why don't you ask Neil Armstrong yourself?Just joking.Well I think we did land on the moon.I don't believe those theories that the ship landed on desert or things like that.Ouu,and the flag from the moon was waving because it was put on some metal plates that hold him in that way, that it looks like flying.

Ill tell ya this, as for us older folks, we take exception to questions like this, but you cant help asking, due to all the crap thats filling yalls head today, all the propaganda from the left wingers, liberals, you cant be blamed for thinking this. But ill say this, by anyone asking this its a true smack in the face of the TRUE AMERICAN HEROES, that did this "one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind". Yes, I watched it on TV the day it happened and yes it was the real thing. Believe it.!! But like I said, we know that you kids have been lied to a lot so asking at this time in your lives is common place. Just know that we are the only ones that have done this truly fantastic feat ever done by Humans. Be proud of the country and the space program. we did it, you bet we did!! Good luck.

I don't think so. IF we did wouldn't it be useful to keep going back to setup a moonbase? Maybe soon our telescopes will be strong enough to try to find the left lunar vehicles
