How cheap is cheap? As I have said how much. I do not want cheap yet it will cost me more in terms of accommodation, transportation and others. It is like those 10 Peso airline promos when in fact you will pay more extras.

Cagayan de Oro City in Misamis Oriental Province is the best whitewater rafting course in the country. Last 2003, President Arroyo and then Secretary Gordon went whitewater rafting along Cagayan de Oro river to promote tourism in the Philippines. Since then Cagayan de Oro has hosted several whitewater rafting national competitions. Right now it costs around 900 Pesos per person but does not include snacks. Cagayan de Oro is the only whitewater rafting destination within city limits and is therefore quite accessible and convenient to tourists.

Cagayan de Oro. Sorry I don't have any other details. But a lot of friends from the area keep talking about a great venue for whitewater rafting about one hour outside the city. I'm sure you can get some leads from any local travel agency.

Cagayan de Oro City definetly. President Arroyo went there, several celebrities (movie and tv) went there, several tv shows were made there, national competitions were held there. I have also read it in airline magazines. If this was a trial, Cagayan de Oro wins without any doubt.

chico river in tabuk, kalinga province in the northern part of luzon near cagayan valley is famous for it's whitewater rafting.
it can be reached by bus from manila or bagiou- victory,autobus,G-Liner and dangwa buses ply that route.

chico river!! located in tabuk, kalinga. it is much cheaper compared to those commercialized ones.the river brings out the best in you in water rafting!
