P1: Important things should be studied.
P2: Power is an important thing.
Therefore, C1: Power should be studied.

If we can understand the nature of political and economic power, then we can perhaps promote a more fair distribution of it. Less than 10% of people in the US hold 90% of the wealth. We can also track the rise of new powers, in case they become a threat to anyone.

The word itself -- "power" -- suggests that it is an essential driving force for the world, just like battery powers a toy. Without power, there's no centralized or collective or established authority to serve and protect the other citizens, in which case society would degenerate into a free for all (if everyone had more or less the same power or liberties).

Every work is done using power. So by studying power we can know various kinds of work done using the power and the way by which the power can be used.

Its not!!! Greed, corruption and numerous other negative facets of humanity have created a world in which life is based upon compitition. Under that belief system "power" is thought to be the ultimate goal and highest form of "success". Anyone foolish enough to believe that or allow themselves to be a part of that has a very long and difficult road to travel down.

If you're talking about "Energy", many aspects of how it can be utilized better is always something worthy of study.

Because it is one of the main motivations of the human species.

Power, sex, money... Some even say that they are the same thing.

Who wants power? Why they think so? Why they think they do? How self-aware are they? What are their life stories? Et Cetera...
