hi, my neighbor(my aunt and uncle) has a wireless router. the brand name is linksys. they have the connection with a password, but they gave it to me. i only use the internet when i have to do school work and look things up, so they dont mind me using it. but i can only use their connection if im in the my bedroom. how can i make their signal stronger so i can use the internet in my bedroom? i read i would have to get a repeater or something like that. how does it work, do i put the repeater in my house and itll make the signal stronger, or do i put it in their house? thanks

Yes a repeater, or range extender as some call it, is what you want. You would just place it in an area in your home were it can receive a good signal from your uncles router in the other home, and it will extend the signal through out your home.

Now, if your uncle has wireless security enabled, WEP or WAP, that will also have to be setup in the repeater.
