The original document called for a type of socialism in the colony, once established. Pilgrims found out unless you own the property you work and can make a profit off it, community ownership doesn't work. Some work hard, others don't cause they still have a common share.

Too bad Hillary Clinton and her handout, entitlement bunch still haven't figured that one out yet.
