Go spend a few days in Granbury TX. Visit Fossil Rim. Go see the nuclear power plant. Look at the dinosaur tracks. Window shop in Granbury. Look for antiques. Enjoy the scenery. Lots to do in that area.

Oklahoma has some beautiful places near you. Canton, Texas trade days. Austin , Texas is always cool and has some great camping close at the San Marcos river or Comal river. Inks lake state park near Austin is gorgeous. Do you like city trips or outdoor trips? That will narrow your choices down.
