I had my daughter 2 months ago and have been breastfeeding her consistently but sometimes I formula feed her but I still pump. I haven't had my period yet either. My husband uses condoms but last night it broke, we did not find out until after he was done. Should I take the morning after pill? It is pretty expensive here it costs 50 bucks.

its totally up to you. I have taken it once before and didnt have any bad side effects. it is not an "abortion" pill, it just prevents the egg from being fertilized, AND you MUST take it before a certain amount of hours (i think the first 13 hours after unprotected sex is the best time) if you really do not want to be pregnant again, its alot cheaper than having another child. people think it is "killing" the baby but its just another form of contraception, if the egg has allready been fertilized then it is too late!

Yes absolutly! Go to your local Planned Parenthood and get it over the counter for half the cost, depending on where you live. Please do not be fooled by the absence of your period related to breastfeeding as you could definatly still get pregnant. The morning after pill is safe if you are breastfeeding. F.Y.I. There are progestin-only birth control pills that are safe to take while breastfeeding. Good Luck! J.williams

I dont think you should take the morning pill. If you are pregnant I guess it is meant to be. Everything happens for a reason.

NEVER EVER take anything while breastfeeding UNLESS your doctor approves it. Talk to your doctor first. Good luck.
