well im a senior in high school and my senior year has been really nothing special....i dont work and i dont participate in extra curriculums, so basically i just do nothing....and i live with my friend whos likes to work i guess. she gets good grades, has a job, and works out. well its not as if i dont want a job, but jobs in my town are scare and i dont have a car so i cant really go to other towns for a job, but i can take the bus and i probably will get a job really soon, i just dont know....is it bad that i am like this? BUT at least i have one job; to take care of myself. my moms in hong kong and my dads in another town, so i really have to take care of my own things, from cell phone bills to college, from my dentist to anything that has something to do with me. my parents dont do it.

If you are happy doing nothing well there is nothing wrong with that. The only thing is if you were to go out there and live, you would feel so good about yourself and your life. Sure you are taking care of yourself because of your parents being away but it sounds like you'd be doing the same thing if they were with you. Get out there and enjoy life. Get a job and have fun. Life's too short to just pass you by!

well it looks like you are going to have to find a job and make a living for yourself to have things you want in life..you do not want to live with someone all the time and have them take care of you...you can find a job maybe not the best at first but then you can keep looking...and also i think having a job will make you feel better..of course you have to be able to pay the bills too.......i wander why you are not with one of your parents so they can help you until you get on your feet........but some parents when the kids get a certain age decides it is time they do things on their own...either way getting a job or get motivating will help you to feel better about yourself and you know we all have to have money to live in this world ...unless we want to be a bum which i do not think you want to be at all....or you would not even be concerned about this now...so the best to you..

How do you support yourself if mom and dad do nothing for you and you do not have a job? Just asking!
Anyway, if you do not need the job, Then why are you worried about looking for one? Enjoy!
