HHUUUMMMM, I have several dreams that I know are just that "DREAMS". I could never accomplish 99% of them or I would have already and they would no longer be dreams.......... I think thats the purpose of dreams, somewhere to escape to, something to look forward to, a small ray of hope in that gives you incentive to carry on!!!!!!!!!!! Without them life would not be a sad, sad thing...........If a dream was really meant to happen God would make sure it did!!!!!!!!

I want some things which are considered a dream. I wouldn't want to lose family over this, although I could amicably change some friends. In the process, I follow my own (husband and childrens) family's needs, which do come first.
Sometimes, though, with my son, I have to follow my dream as he is too youthful to see the outcome, and is in the here and now. I do pay close attention to him, and explain the things I am doing, so he feels secure. He sometimes asks, can you do this? It takes a lecture (a very long, intricately diagrammed talk, where he prefers to listen so he gets the inside details and attention), or a few weeks before he sees the outcome. My husband is easier, he has experience and his own preferences, thank you.

It would depend on the dream itself, how much I believed in it and what could come from it..... if it would be worth it in the end. If all aspects indicated properly, yes I would be willing to sacrifice all for it and at any cost.
Sometimes however its better to simply let go ones dreams. If its meant to happen it will, all by itself and in the course of time IT requires. Nothing you could do would change it or make it happen any faster or differently.

I would hurt no one along the way of my dreams. I work hard to achieve them and no suffers except possibly me in need of sleep.
My family & friends are ONE of my dreams come true and they will not suffer as I persue more dreams. Any dream worth persuing is worth protecting what you already have accomplished.
If I have numreous dreams in the works, sometimes one of them gets put on hold so to direct my energy towards the one of choice at that particular time.

Friends are no problem, family is always family. If it is a forbidden dream, then it is not worth it. You owe a grave responsibility to your family to make them proud of you. If they just don't like what you've chosen, then give them a fit. They will come around eventually.

Whatever it took. As long as it was truly what I wanted moreso than anything else. Everyone must follow their own path in life. Using the data they gather to decide what it is they want, and then using that to make their life worth something. To create something amazing.

to truly pursue a dream is the most selfish act. it is a journey to self glorification and nothing should stand in your way if that is truly your goal.
friends are the most disposable commodity there is. believe me, the friends you think are going to be there for you...wont be. you 'might' be lucky to have one or two true friends in your life.
family...theyre like herpes...you cant get rid of them no matter what. this makes it great for fully taking advantage of them IF it helps in your goal attainment.
for me, there is absolutely nothing wrong with stepping on people to get where you need to get to. anyone who is 'sensitive' to others peoples feelings are the losers in life, flipping burgers and delivering my $350 bottles (that's each btw) to my door.
the friends that i have in my life are great, for the moment...i feel ZERO guilt in using them to further my needs if the opportunity were to present itself.
am i a cold hearted bastard? well, let's just put it this way. i have no guilt in watching you horrifically fail and ruin your life if it improves my life circumstances 0.0000005%.
just ask bill gates, warren buffet and michael dell if they agree with me. if they were alive, you could also ask napoleon, alexander the great, hitler, jfk (and joseph kennedy), sam wall and jack nicholson (wait...he's alive...his career is just dead).
