You don't need someone like that in your life or your son's life. Why would he purposely not answer his phone? There is no GOOD reason for that. He is a father and about to get married. He needs to either be a man, grow up, and take responsibility or get out. It may sound harsh, but this is only the beginning. Speaking from personal experience, you will end up constantly checking up on him, going through his things looking for evidence, feeling like a nag, and feeling like you're losing your mind. You don't deserve that unnecessary stress in your life. Family should be his focus. Unless he turns things around in a big way to show you he loves you and NEVER does this again, I'd say you need to move on.

Hell No he actually said he purposely didn't answer your calls? Thats so disrespectful. He should have expected you to call if he was out that late without telling you where he was. And its time for him to grow up. He has a 3 yr old kid and he is still drinkin all night with his buddies. Tell him Sorry babe, your party days are over.
Oh also if this stuff happens again I'd say leave him.

Has he ever done this before? If not then give him the benefit of the doubt. Maybe he just needed a night out. How long has it been since he had that?
That being said though, he should not have stayed out that late! After 2:00 there ain't nothing open but legs and liquor stores! You don't hang out at the liquor store. Watch your own back because nobody else will.

You have to make up your own mind about leaving. That is YOUR decision alone. The only thing I would be concerned with is his inability to tell you what he was doing afterwork, it must be something that he knows would upset you and this lack of communication isn't going to help the relationship at all...of course WHY you have a 3 year old and are only living with this guy is a whole different question and only speaks of desperation on your part.

You are overreacting. You sound like you would yell at him and take him home early for spilling the popcorn when the home team got a triple with two men on base.

You are not overreacting.
You have the right to worry.
Out of courtesy he should have let you know where he was and that he was staying because he was drinking and didn't want to drive.
Unless of course he didn't want to hear the response.
then I would say the problems come from both of you.
If you do not trust him now you will never trust him.

It seems he can't be open with you and feels trapped, so, he lies so he can have some freedom. Have some fun,be responsible; for your childs sake, you both should go out on your own and have fun occasionaly. Just be honest and trust eachother and your relationship should thrive. It sucks to feel trapped!!! Yes, you are overreacting.

Well just speaking from experience, get out now!! It most likely will get worse. U deserve better than that and I'm sure u can find it if you get rid of someone like that.

Put your foot down about this now. Let him know this is unacceptable and something you will not tolerate. Instead of staying out drinking, he should of been home to help take care of his son who he helped bring into this world.
