I'm asking this, because to be honest, i think some of the music we listen to now is crap music. music that can't even be called music..but yet some people listen to it because other people listen to it.
not going to mention any song names, but some are really really dumb and the lyrics are so "mtv" ish. maybe it's just me, but i want to know what you guys think!~

i listen to what i like. if i don't like it, i'm not gonna listen. if it's really bad, i change the radio station. what i don't like is all the labels they have. emo? screamo? wtf! excuses for people to be sad if you ask me. let them find out what real depression is and what real problems are.

Well, my friends and family have turned me on to some music and vice versa, but I've never been one to listen to something simply because it's popular. I agree that most of the MTV/Top 50 stuff is incredibly bad. I wasn't a huge fan in high school, but in my view it's gotten progressively worse since then.

Lol, I never got what MTV-ish really meant until I realize how it's going. It's so fake mainstreamish..I thik.
In my old school, it was rap and R&B and in my current school, it's old rock (like AC DC, Metallica, etc.) I'm open to hear those kinds of music, but I can't stand how people say "Oh em gee, I ⥠her!"..It sounds so teeny-boppish.
