Life comes from GOD.It is the gift that He gave us.LIFE is a gift, which we must respect. It is not some ordinary thing, life is the proof that GOD loves us,in spite of our facts,in spite that we think about Him,sometimes, when we are sick,or when we are in trouble, that He left us which is not true.

this might cause a heated debate but here's a few things to consider. first and foremost alot of people are going to say "god" created life. however i don't believe this is the truth because they have no facts to support this theory. Have you ever seen something blink into existence? the answer is no , so there for why should things be different 100, 1000, or even 1 million years ago. Now we need to think what is life. Websters says this : the sum of the distinguishing phenomena of organisms, esp. metabolism, growth, reproduction, and adaptation to environment. From this very definition you could say , Fire is alive. It Consumes, reproduces, and adepts to its environment. Regardless of this we know its not actually alive like you and I, it has no reasoning like that of an animal or human. however i think we might have something in common with fire, the creation of fire and life might be similar in the fact its a chemical reaction that occurs. "where did life come from?" i don't think anyone can be certain on where "it" came from. i think you can count on this however. A chemical reaction occurred when it was first formed. which means that from space, earth or god is irrelevant. but how it came to be is the mystery. Chemical reaction? Magic? This question has intrigued the most brilliant men from the beginning of man. i look forward to more reply on this topic. GL to you.

All the answers you get are opinions.
Scientists believe space came from something called the BIG BANG THEORY.
Space was white, and unlimited.
Until the big bang theory.
Over billions of years, earth was one of billoins of planets, just beginning to form. Earth used to be Hot, and there was absolutly no water.
Once earth cooled, Water came from, space, and the molten iron and nickel.
After the oceans, ponds, and lakes, creeks, rivers, ect, Were finished, another long period took place. Plants began to grow. And as you no plants, because the earths atmospher was all carbo dioxide, began to grow from the water. With photosythisis of carbon dioxide, and the productioon of sugar, oxygen was made, and after another long period, oxygen took over the atmosphere. Because there was oxygen, living creatures began to form.... in water. Because a sperm would have to get to an egg cell. Thus creating life.

There are certain truths (or concepts) which defy our understanding and 'life' is one such. Where science ends, religion begins and it is agreed that creation is one such frontier of truth. Now, without going too much into philosophy and stuff like that, we (as scientists or simply believing humans) know only in principle that a biological body is "living" and that later on it "dies" when some thing leaves it........but what is that divine or life giving spark? No one knows as yet. For want of a better answer, you call it soul, spirit, or life force or whatever. But scientifically you cannot quantify it, nor can you demonstrate it. By faith we call it 'life' or 'soul' or 'spirit' having been originated from some higher source which in different religions is called God. For the atheist or ungod oriented, it becomes more complicated....leading to more complex explanations which would only lengthen my answer. So....there it is: life either begins from God or it originated by itself which sounds more far fetched so that the former explanation is simpler and more meaningful. Accept it by faith for we will know the truth only when we leave this 3-D world of ours and perhaps enter a higher dimensional realm of existence.

Bible scholars believe we were all created by God and before Adam and Eve which by the way was the first life on the planet. I learned that we were all spirits of God in heaven
before we were born here. But, the war in heaven changed everything, then man fell from the grace of God. Remember Adam & Eve and the forbidden fruit (the apple).

Supposedly the world was created when a meteorite, containing bacteria and micro creatures hit earth. The bacteria and micro creatures flourished and grew and somehow created insects and from then on. This happed a couple billion years ago. I don't support this. I think God sent Adam and Eve down from Eden and they made the first cavepeople.

Total chance. A combination of proteins coming together which had one amazing ability, the ability to replicate. Now the chance of this happening is infinitesimal but it took hundreds of millions of years for this chance to occur. If you played the lottery every day during the same time period then you’d win loads of times. Once this happened then it was down to adaptation and selection.

My personal opinion is that life exists on earth by "Intelligent Design". It seems incredible to me that the conditions for life to exist as we know it happened coincidently or purely out out of random chance.

Nowadays, you can be stoned for saying evolution did not occur.
You ask a question which is obvious to me, but I can't tell you what it is because it would be unscientific.
