abercrombie and fitch are for 13 y.o whores, can we please not suggest it again in this form.
Heres what you should wear:
* Definetely wedges or pumps
* Some nice capri's ( try 7 for all mankind capris they are very popular with the young crowd)
* Oversized sunglasses
* Spring colored polos
* Denim jackets
* Louis Vuitton purses in a really cute spring color
* Coach Bag
* Pretty much any designer denim will get you some serious recognition with the young crowd ( citizens of humanity, 7 for all mankind, true religion, rock & reublic)

If she trys to wear young clothes it will only make her look like an old woman trying to look young...which will make her look older. Don't wear mom pants...the ones that go to your belly button but don't wear hip hugger...wear mid-rise pants. Dark colored jeans are more professional. Wear taliored jackets that show off the smallest part of your body. The more put together and more self confident you are, the better and younger you look.

She is probably just wanting to look nicer like you.
I would think take her to a store you like or one with clothes that would suit her nicely.
Maybe good mid-rise pants with nice top and jacket to accentuate her figure and make her look more slim.
Maybe make the jacket a dark color to accentuate that more.
But doesn't sound to me like she's being weird. Just sounds like she'd like to look and dress nicer.

jeans and one of those t-shirts with lace at the bottom and a denim jacket with wedges, don't worry my mom is like that too!

let her know that no matter what she wears she will never look old!,,,
light colors blouses with jeans will be good for her.
besides, hair,makeup,and attitude count 80%
