I have only felt ill once with a baby turning and that was at 37 weeks when my son went from breech to head down and I was violently sick immediately afterwards (which was due to pressure on my stomach as he tipped over). There are lots of reasons you can be feeling unwell. Even the common cold can feel worse when you are pregnant. If your stomach is feeling unsettled it could still be a bug. Give your GP a call at the start of the week for advice. If you can take yourself to bed for some rest with plenty of fluids and chocolate x

I am also about 51/2 months and the baby turns all the time. It has never made me feel awful. It could be your uterus stretching as the baby grows, that can hurt pretty bad some times. If something is hurting you should call your doctor just to be safe.

If you feel awful you call your doctor and explain your symptoms. Awful is a pretty strong word.

The baby will turn over and over again until your last few weeks of pregnancy. This should not make you feel anything. CALL YOUR DOC!

When I was pregnant with my daughter, I felt that way too, when she was turning - especially in the 2nd and 3rd trimester, it would be as bad as vomiting and strong pain in the abdomen. I was admitted to the hospital once because I thought, I was in premature labor, but it was just her, kicking me from the inside and throwing a party in there.

However, if you're unsure, better call your ob-gyn, better safe than sorry!

Babies turn all the time. The do flips and twirls inside you. Most of the time you dont feel it. Its not like it takes a few days or something. They do it all day and night.

You can feel crappy during pregnancy for many reasons, as long as you dont have contractions, you're not seeing stars for feeling faint, you're fine. Its just part of the game.

the first lady is absolutly right.

make sure you take your pre-natal vitamin. the baby is going to take all the vitamins and nutrients it need to properly grow and develope, so you need to take the vitamins to replenish YOUR supply.
also drink PLENTY of water. i drank 1 gallon of water per day while i was pregnant (16 cups)...it helps with so many things- besides, you pee constanly while your pregnant anyways, why not make it worth while?
